About our brand
Chic training academy is a learning platform for new and experienced nail technicians. Whether you want to start your nail journey, improve your skills or add to your treatment menu, we are here to help. We work on a small group basis to give each student a personal experience and 1-1 training. All of our courses are fully BIA accredited and you will gain a full qualification once completing the chosen course.
Our trainers have years of experience and are extremely knowledgeable on all courses at a wide spectrum!
Purchasing courses
All courses are availeble to book and purchase via the 'BOOK NOW' page, you will have the opportunity to select your course date and purchase your chosen course, if you would like to complete more then one course on the same day this is something we can arrange, email us with your enquiry and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please not all courses are non refundable once booked.
Payment options
we have lots of payment options available such as apple pay, card payments and PayPal. Apply for PayPal pay in 3 and spread you purchase over 3 payments. We are hoping to have Klarna payments available soon.
Qualifications
There are no qualifications for the beginners courses, the only course that requires qualification is the nail art course as this is an intermediate course you will need either gel or acrylic qualification prior to booking. Please note all courses are non refundable once purchased so check the course requirements before booking.
Do I need to bring a model?
The answer is yes you do need to bring a model. Your model will need to arrive to the venue an hour into you training day for example if we are starting at 9am they will need to arrive at 10am, there is a lovely coffee shop 1 minute from the venue and refreshments will be available to them throughout the day, they will usually only be needed for 1-2 hours although they are more they welcome to stay in the venue until the training day is completed.
Models and yourself must arrive with nothing on your nails, this is really important as there is no time in the lesson plan allocated for removing previous products.
No model is needed for the nail art course.
What does 'accredited' mean?
Accredited means officially recognized as meeting the essential requirements, as of academic excellence. this means our courses have nationally and internationally recognised standards, and you will have a full qualification upon completion.
Do i need a starter kit?
No you don't need to purchase a starter kit to complete the courses however for our 'gel and go' course you will need to complete at home case studies in which you will need the correct products and equipment to do this. Our courses are not brand specific and are designed to be as affordable and flexible as possible so you can work with any brand you feel is best for you after gaining your qualification so your not tied down to one brand. We don't include starter kits as this would massively increase the cost of the training but we do offer unique discount code for a starter kit that you can purchase at your own accord.

How old do i need to be?
Here at Chic there is an age restriction to book courses, you must be 16 years old or over to be able to pass our courses. This is for insurance purposes and we will not be able to give you your qualification if your underaged.
